This Fairtrade coffee is nutty and chocolatey. It's made from organic beans that are grown at high elevations in the heartland of the Incas which is the Andes. It has a smooth, rich taste with overtones of premium dark chocolate.
This is a complete bean coffee that can be used in any coffee maker that is filter, manual or pump. A 227g pack typically makes 30 cups of coffee.
Organic
This coffee's nutty, chocolatey flavor comes from its high altitude home in the center of the Incas. This Fairtrade Organic and Soil Association-certified coffee is cultivated in the Chanchamayo Province of Peru at 1,400m above sea level. Arabica Caturra and Typica varieties are grown according to Washed Process standards, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
Organic and fair trade coffee beans are picked by hand at the slopes of the Andes and then expertly roasted to give a full-bodied flavour. The nutty flavor, combined with the gorgeous dark chocolate overtones are sure to make you jump out of bed early in the morning. the fact that it's a Fairtrade coffee ensures that the remote farmers who grow it are properly looked after too.
